Some of the things we find.
The most common thing we find are tree roots, they have the ability to travel hundreds of feet in search of food and water. Believe it or not your sewer line provides perfect conditions for tree root growth. Inside your sewer line tree roots get everything they need food, water, and a consistent temperature to grow in.
The next most common thing we find are broken pipes. Broken pipes can go undetected for months possibly years, before they are discovered. What happens usually is a backed up or slow moving drain is noticed. With a camera you can find it and locate it before more damage is done, and if caught early enough some repairs can be done with the minimum amount of disruption to the property and the people living in the home.
Another common problem might be a low spot or belly in the line. This is usually found in houses that have been built more recently. What happens is the line is usually plastic and when it was buried the ground settles underneath it and the pipe sinks. When there is a belly in the line, holds tend to settle in the low area, and eventually build up stoping the flow. By using Hydro-physics we can find the low area and locate that spot with no need to be sold a complete dig and repair saving the homeowner time and money. Also often times the problems can be solved by getting the line cleaned out on a routine basis which is also a service that we provide.
